Competition Squad
the squad
Gymnasts within the squad compete at the Bucks County Floor and Vault, and the Team Apparatus Competitions each year
The gymnasts are expected to work on their flexibility and strength at home as well as at the sessions, and extra time is made available within the gym to train for upcoming competitions
Jo Pontin is our resident choreographer and puts together all the floor routines to music at this level and helps work on the beam routines. She is available to work one to one with the gymnasts most evenings after school for a fee of £8 per half hour slot
At the Bucks County Competition in March 2008, 22 gymnasts attended and came back with 18 medals!
