Pre-School Gymnastics
The class
We run a number of pre-school classes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. These classes cover all aspects of gymnastics including beam, bars, vault, trampette, tumble, rings and floor. We also incorporate many hand held skills such as sticks, ribbons, hoops, ropes, pom poms and scarves, which lead on to rhythmic gymnastics when the children are older.
The classes start with a warm up to music and a stretch followed by one of the skills above before the children get into groups to go on the equipment. The equipment set up changes every two weeks, allowing us to work through many different skills on the syllabus.
A pre-school plan has been designed to reward the gymnasts with colourful badges for achievable goals. This training program has six awards covering locomotion skills, agility, manipulative skills, jumping, co-ordination, shaping, strength and body tension

Pricing
Each session is charged at £4.85 plus the annual BAGA membership fee
