THE TEAM
GYMNASTICS COACHES
We are very fortunate to have a team of highly qualified and caring coaches here at Booker, who have worked for many years developing each and every gymnast that steps through our doors to reach their full potential.
The Head Coaches of each discipline are listed below and all our staff and their qualifications are listed on the next page
Jackie Coles
Welfare Officer & Administrator
Having worked at Booker since 1998 as a gymnastic coach, I have now moved across into the office to help with all the admin that our busy club generates. With my background on the gym floor I have continued with my role as Welfare Officer and I am first point of call if you have any concerns (01494 471566)
Kate Dutnall
Head Coach & Gym Manager
I have worked at Booker since 1998 and the club has changed along the way, adapting to the gymnasts who train here, developing a large Individual Apparatus Squad, Freestyle section and branching out into Tumbling & Team Gym.
My focus is development from the smallest steps in special needs to the biggest skills in our competition squads.
Olivia Collingwood
Head of Tumbling
My passion is the development of the tumbling squad here at Booker.
I have worked here since 2012 and taught many tumblers in this time and seen many step onto the podium as National Champions, however nothing compares to seeing a gymnast conquer their fears and achieve a new skill in the gym.
Megan Coles
Head of Pre School & Recreational
I trained initially at Booker Gym Club in the Competition Squad and continued on as a coach, working my way up to lead the Pre School and Recreational sessions.
My focus is care for each and every child, regardless of age or ability. All our skills are taught through fun activities enabling our gymnasts to grow in confidence weekly.
Harlie Shelton & Charlie Bunt
Head of Team Gym
I joined Booker a few years ago to work with the squad to choreograph floor routines. I have since branched out into Team Gym, which has helped us retain our older competitive gymnasts in this exciting and challenging discipline.
Charlie, an ex competitive gymnast from Booker and now L2 tumbling coach works alongside me, specialising in tumbling, vault and trampette.

Sharon Glanville
Head of Individual Apparatus Squad & Choreographer
I have coached at Booker for many years with both my children training here and then going on to ooach here.
I coach Pre School through to our top squad girls, involved in identifying ability from our little ones right through to our teenagers. I love seeing my gymnasts challenged yet achieving and the confidence this gives them

Jake Glanville
Head of Freestyle
I trained initially as a competitive gymnast at Booker but my first love is Freestyle. We have a large freestyle section here at Booker with 150 boys training across the week.
We have worked hard to cater for every age and ability, having a range of classes to suit all. I love to see boys devloping their skills and seeing their own flair and style coming through.
